| Teresa got me drunk the other night. I've never been "drunk", but that night, I was absolutely drunk. So a huge thanks to her. And a huge thanks to that hot preppy guy who was dancin' all up on me. hehe
Yesterday morning we were up and on the road by about 9ish. Teresa had her big interview at the Sheriff's department. We went to Cato to see if they had anything she could wear, but they were closed, so we hit the highway. I spent my day doing my laundry and playing with Jasmine and Dylan. Oooh, babies! They're so squishy! LoL.
I also went through the file cabinet with my mom & dad looking through old folders and such. I came across a stack of my old awards and ribbons from my school years. I was actually looking for my yearbook from Eugene Ware Elementary in KCK, but unfortunately, I couldn't find it. But going through looking at all the things my mom and dad have kept through the years was incredible. Even the little "have a good day at work" notes that I've left them, they had *everything*. I found a little birthday card that I made for my brother when I was 8 & he was turning 10. Possibly my first poem. It was crazy. I looked at all my report cards from Kindergarten through Senior year. . apparently Science was always a weak point for me.
Anyway, Teresa's interview went good. You can read all about it on her blog, HERE.
We got back to the apartment, had dinner, watched Everwood to check out The Effects, and went to Dugout to have "a drink" with J.D. For me, "a drink" turned into 3 drinks and some horrible rounds of pool. I did manage to find some pretty good music on the jukebox though, so that helped. Then we sat down for a while and talked, chilled, whatever. Teresa had to put up with an irritating wierd guy named "Chops", but J.D. got rid of him for her. He pawned him of on some poor unsuspecting girl. It was a fun night. And it ended with J.D. saying to me "call me on wednesday" I'm such a dork. |
